I sew this diaper bag and cot bumper during my first pregnancy. I love patch work and thought it would looks great on the bumper.

However, now that Baby is completely diaperless, I’m thinking of getting rid of them with a very heavy heart. But the bumper? Those are of sentimental value. Maybe I should keep them but since the diaper bag and the bumper came in a pair, I shall part them in a pair too. *sigh… shall see about that.

I’m a sentimental fool, I would keep them together, but that’s just me.

Oh no, please don’t get rid of them, they are really lovely and would bring back such memories! Or if you feel you must, you could give them to someone special.

These are too nice to part with. You can keep them for posterity and hand them down to your baby when that time comes that he/she has a baby already. Just a thought. πŸ™‚

i agree with Lynn — they are heirlooms for your child. Keep them until you can pass them on for their own little one. very creative project.

Those are really nice. It’s hard to part with things we put a lot of love and time into. In the long run, someone else would get the use out of them. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend.

I would give the set to someone I knew who was having a baby and would take good care of them, understanding and appreciating the associated sentimentality.
