Are you superstitious?

This kettle is just an ordinary kettle. In the mouth of the kettle stand a passion fruits bulb and flowers. Inside the kettle is some old wife tales and a pork belly which was cooked with white peppercorns.

According to superstitions, couples that has been expecting and getting a row of girls and wanted badly a boy will be able to put a stop to it by consuming the pork belly. It goes vice versa if you had a row of boys in hope that the next pregnancy will be the opposit sex. But they don’t gurantee you don’t get a…. gay!

Another superstition, wife that had just gone thru a miscarriage or repeated history of miscarriages that wanted to put a stop to it should consume the pork belly. Of course with the anticipation from the husband too.

Why does it has to be a kettle? Can you imagine what does the spout looks like? No/yes? It’s the shape of the PENIS!!! And the pot probably resemble their beer belly *ekwwwww*. The flowers are a symbol of love and passion fruits is the symbol of fertility cos they contain lots of tiny seeds in them. Hmm…. it does make sense whoever invented this old tale.

Quite an interesting bits of old tale here. It’s up to you to try them or believe them.
