Not many people heard of the term scrapbooking. What is actually scrapbooking? In my own words scrapbooking is where you transformed a dull photo into a piece of beautiful artwork. It is not difficult to start off if you have photoshop software or any other photo editing program that is able to do layering and must be able to run .png file.

Next, gather lots of element for scrapbook. You should be able to start working now. For my project, these are the elements that I am using:

Top to bottom: Ribbons, pin, stitches, flowers and alphabets. Not forgetting you need a paper too for the background.

From here on, you can start to create your master piece anyway you like or make them like a storyline. Not sure about you, I get my inspiration from looking at the elements I have, before putting them together.

Easter day has come and gone but the memory is safely stored in my hard drive. I can’t stop staring at her photographs as she has grown more beautiful by days. I have no idea as how I should describe that special glow on her face. She really had that glow especially on her cheeks.

Sorry, I am so Emo and tired today. Please don’t say any mushy-mushy words to me or I may cry. I can’t wait to go home and give this Baby a big bear hug or maybe drop one or two ‘happy’ tears. Signing out….

Baby Princess started play school early of this year. At the same time, I’ve enrolled her in Sunday School too. I’m so glad she love both of it. Everyday, she will ask if tomorrow got school or not. And her tomorrow will never end with Sunday School. She has grown more talkative and her speech was excellent. Sometime Most of the time she will go babble, babble, babble and we have to ask her to stop.

She is getting mischievious by days. At times, I find her antic amusing but most of the time, she is really a trouble maker. She has this ability to charm people. Most of the time, I will fall into her traps. She conversed less in Mandarin ever since she stopped going to the babysitter. Which, is a bad thing la! She used to communicate in full Mandarin with Aunty, but now, Aunty is complaining that she don’t understand a word what Baby Princess is talking.

Coming to her speech, her once upon a time Ki Ki Kau is now clearly heard as Mickey Mouse. *rolling-on-floor-laughing* Lello is now Yellow. Winnie the Pooh is still Winnie Pooh Pooh which I think is cute . Sometimes, she calls herself Monster Truck and at times, she thinks she is Transformers. This is when she will fight with her brother cos both of them wanted to be Autobot. errr… that’s all the progress at 3 years old.

We almost celebrate her birthday in TGIF if not because of Cheng Beng. So this year, we have different picture compare to the previous year. You know, I am so glad I have wonderful Sister-In-Laws. They are just wonderful peoples (not because of the birthday cake they bought. They ARE really nice people.)

Satisfied, but not totally.

The hardcover, the papers, the finishing - I gave 2 thumbs up.

The ink? I’ll say it is more on the darker side. They blame it on my photo. I can accept that. I know I’m not a good photograher.

But, look at this!

White line appearing on most of the pages. And they still put the blame on me cos I dragged the image exactly on the dotted line instead of over the line. But, but if over the line, my image will get cropped. So how? Over the line or on the line or before the dotted line? You tell me!

I’m happy to say this, Their Customer Service is really out of this world. NOT!

I bring the matter to their attention on Monday. The girl promised to get back to me but I have yet to hear anything from them. I am so impatient I can’t wait any longer to show you guys this wonderful book with ugly lines on the side.

I would encourage everyone to put their photographs in a Photobook cos the cost of printing one is even cheaper than developing a 4R prints. And if you really into making one, don’t be shy to MSN me for tips. I can be a better Customer Service person than they are. I probably know more technical stuff than they are. I can even teach you a thing or two about scrapbooking. And pe.lea.se la. Having that white line has got nothing to do with scrapbook software. Scrapbook is not a software at all. Scrapbook are images. Siao she ren.

This year, instead of painting the Easter egg, I opt for the easy way out. Dye them! No more messy-messy kids and save me tones of yelling.

To dye an egg, all you need is a hard boiled egg, a small bowl, colourings and white vinegar.

Use a spoon if you don’t want to have ‘Easter’ fingers. Dry them on a kitchen towel or you can place them on the egg carton to dry.

There you go.

This is the same method to dye red eggs during a Baby Full moon.

Wei, wei, wei, Chinese New Year is just around the corner. What do you think of my new CNY banner? Took me hours to complete it, so you better say something nice about it (*sticking out tongue*). This is the first time too I’ve posted up a pic of me with my glasses on. Yea, I am long sighted. The vain me wore contact lenses but at home, I will be looking like an Ah Soh. So Bernard, I’ve granted your wish. Better give me an Angpow cos I am younger than you. I don’t care!

Since CNY is just 2 weeks away, the Bank near to where I was working was pack with Chinese nation who started to change new $note$ to usher the upcoming Chinese New Year. Upon seeing the crowd, the excited me planning to do so one of these days before the new $note$ ran out of stock. Which usually happen la.

While I was counting how much $note$ to change, I’ve notice a new number of family addition this year. Which means more angpow had to prepare.

This bundle joy of my sister has grown so big. Very chubby and I love to hug this little teddy bear.

And another bundle joy of BIL (aka Hubby’s brother) baby was born sometime last month. I’ve captured something that I really like during the baby’s full moon.

In the background was SIL (not baby’s mother!) holding onto the Baby while capturing images of BIL paying respect to their ancestors announcing the arrival of the newborn.

It’s the baby turn now to give 3 bows (asif!).

These two are the new addition from my immediate family. Not forgetting, one of my cousin sister too had a newborn baby. And my other cousin brother. And another cousin brother is getting married on Chor Yat. Gosh! I’m going broke again. Help!

“Later Mr. Chung and his family will visit me. I’ll ask them to visit you too! The Chung family members are, Chung Ma Piu, Chung To To and Chung 4D. They’ll be there to wish you good luck for 2008. Don’t worry! One of the members will not visit your for the whole year. Chung SaMan is out of town this year” - These are some of the smses I received since Christmas. They are so hillarious. I saved them all in my Inbox and will read them whenever I am bored. That really lift up a smile on my face.

Barely a week left till the school reopen for school children. This year, I have 3 school going children. Yea, Baby Princess who is turning 3 next year is joining her Brother in the same Kindergarten and will be staying back full day in the child care. Tomorrow my pocket is going broke ($$$) again as I am going to the Kindergarten to pay for their school fees which might cost me another dSLR. I’m not kidding you. Montessori Kindergarten is a very expensive affair. I can’t wait for them to enter Standard One. No more coughing out monthly school fees and we even get free text books this year. Woohoo!

Talking about which, majority of Chinese school students is make compulsory to wear their name tag. I’m not sure about Kebangsaan school tho.

Four pieces of name tags was given free to each student. But halooooooooh, my daughter had 5 sets of school uniforms! What to do. Pay money lor. Buy lor.

Eldest Princess have her stationaries (cum Christmas presents) to show off this year to her friends.

The sissy pink High School Musical merchandise. Kids nowadays matured too fast. When I was 7 y/o, I know nuts about TeeVee actors and actresses.

Since school holiday is coming to an end, Hubby felt bad for not bringing the kids for a holiday. But I was so broke after buying the new dSLR. Holiday + Money = <~~~ me!

Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to the new schooling semester. I’m sure most Mothers do .

Since I was stitching Eldest Princess name on to her pinafore, I had her Taekwondo’s grading badge sew too.

Taekwondo grading syllabus is a bit weird. The number start from 10th Kup (grade) to 1st Kup (grade). For example:

• White Belt - 10th Kup
• White Belt Yellow Tag - 9th Kup
• Yellow Belt - 8th Kup
• Yellow Belt Green Tag - 7th Kup
• Green Belt - 6th Kup
• Green Belt Blue Tag - 5th Kup
• Blue Belt - 4th Kup
• Blue Belt Red Tag - 3rd Kup
• Red Belt - 2nd Kup
• Red Belt Black Tag - 1st Kup

She will be Green Belt holder next year. Don’t prey-prey….

This time I have seriously betrayed my husband, my kids, myself to buy something that is over the household budget but the offer is too good to resist. I can’t sit and wait for my advertising money to come in next year just incase the shop deny me the attractive prices he is offering now.
