Does it really take only an hour to process new passports these days?
The Queen says: I think it is 2 hours for renewal only and previous passport must be microchip type at selected Immigration only. Tho I had mine done in 24 hours.

this reminds me, must put down in my to-do list when home for holiday – passport renewal… i’d still have a bit more than 6 months on the passport by that stage so a bit worried they won’t let me renew but hopefully it won’t be any problem…

The Queen says: Kids – RM150 x 3 = RM450. Pokai liao oh. Yup. We still need to bring new photos. Go to the Subang branch. Very fast. My queue number was 20. Everything kau tim within 30mins.

i renewed my passport in ’05 when i was back, and in sitiawan it was done in 24 hours and go in the afternoon around tea time, seriously takde line. 1st in line.
