Other than awesome pictures I took in Morib with my new Tamron AF 28-75mm f2.8, now I have to nurse a very itchy legs from the darn sandflies bite. But I reckon, no pain no gain. I don’t even mind all the red patches on my ankles after seeing the shots that I took (asif!).

My Sister, Julie and me each cook a little food but we always ended up with too much food. From my sister’s kitchen, she whipped out baked chicken wings, baby potatoes & broccoli salads, fresh fruits and drinks. From my kitchen, I need to finished up the Vietnamese spring roll skin before they really expired! For finger food, we had inari and guacamole as the dipped for nachos.

Kids as usual, dashed out to the beach. The midday sun is too direct and harsh. They are bad for photography as they created lots of shadowy pictures. Composition and angle has to be right then. As for the above picture, I am learning to take cloudy sky. aitelyu, my sifu hor, very selfish wan. I asked him for the tips so many times but he purposely ignore me. What type of sifu is that! The correct sky would have more obvious cottony clouds. I am somewhere there but still need more improvement.

I have fallen in love with the new Tammy aka Tamron.

Notice the shadow on Prince face? This is what I meant by direct-harsh-sun-bad-for-photography. Thank you.

None of us swim cos the water is too murky.

You know how some babies will put sands in their mouth? I was surprised as how well Jonathan, my nephew behaved. This is the first time he sat on the beach without crying. Fyi, he is a cry baby before that.

Little Jonathan is on Swim Diaper. Cute la.

Did I tell you Jonathan is a cry baby?

Hmm… I think I did not.

Jonathan is a cry baby! *duck from Sis flying pots and pans*

Ahem! I can’t resist myself from yoga’ing. Everywhere I go I always have lots of yoga’ing idea. I was in Wheel pose and Eldest Princess is in Cobra. I know the outfit is so wrong. But who on earth goes to a beach in yoga outfit? That is crazy right?

It’s the sky that I want to show off! And that too, the back bend pose.

It’s the sky again. And yes, I know. Cute baby.

Same thing again. Don’t get me started on the sky. I just love it! And yes, the baby too

Don’t worry. This is the last pic on sky and the baby. Nice wat. Kekeke, I know la. Syok sendiri only.

This is so funny I just can’t stop laughing! *rolling-on-floor-laughing-out-loud*

Taking photos of sunset can be rewarding. At these times of day when the sun is lower in the sky, sunlight travels through more atmosphere to reach the earth. As a result, colors are warmer, richer and often vibrant.

It’s vital when photographing the sun not to stare at it too long through the lens. You can damage your eyes as well as your camera.

<strike> Correct me if I am wrong. I think this is another version of dancer pose. Not very sure myself. </strike>Standing pigeon.

End of the picnic. Everyone started whining and was scratching non stop including yours truly. I have red patches all over my ankle and tight now. So you think the pain is worth it?

Good thing I’ve managed to hijack a few bloggers for some beach outing aka picnic since I don’t plan to go off anywhere for holiday during Labour Day (May 1st). Even if I can’t get participant for this picnic, I have my plan 2 (hands up if you are up for plan 2).

It has been raining almost every evening and Jazzmint suggested that we had morning picnic instead. Which means…. THE QUEEN HAS TO BE UP EARLY TO COOK! *Boohoo* I have to forgo baking fresh baguette. And since LaundryAmah voluntered to make sandwiches, I cooked this…

… the cucur ikan bilis (anchovies) goes best with sambal ikan bilis.

So, the usual stuff la. Eat.. Talk… Bitch… Play… Chasing after kids!

Older girls don’t play building castle anymore.

She found some <strike>dead crab with left over</strike> shells and was so happy. Now she called it – “My collections!”

Aiyah, kids can’t live without fighting issit!!!! Where is my cane?!

No la. In actual fact, Baby Princess saw Kieran struggling to push the wagon into the puddle of water. She then went and help him by pushing from the other end.

It’s a hardwork, you know! *ngek

Vyktore Boy makes me wanna produce my own Boy

He’s very adorable!

Kylie was safe in her Apah’s care.

Where is Amah?

Good thing Amah bought this big giant umbrella from Ikea. The price tag is still intact if you were to check out the first pic. And guess what? She is such a Puteri Lilin!!! (Candle Princess)

Right to Left – Jazzmint + Faythe, LaundryAmah and Cheryl. The rest no need intro liao.

We had so much fun amid the scroching sun. We might do this again.

You like this collage? See the “Google’s Photo Organizer” button on my right sidebar? Download the software and start your own collage!

————————-

What can we ask for more amid the humid weather lately? We are dying for cool breeze! and I think it’s a good excuse to gather family members for a picnic at the beach . There are 16 adults and 9 kiddos – no joke. Morib beach is the nearest beach in Klang and I think it’s the only beach that can be found in Klang Valley.

You like fun? We bring lots of toys for the kiddos. There is even a toy truck so the boys are busy transporting sands and the girls basically busy picking shells and building sand castle. We had adult toys too. Not a Vibrator ok! …. a kite!

I’m just to obsessed in photography and this is the best time to take silhouette shots. I took many many of them and really love it so much.

Not forgetting the act of jumping. We jump and jump and keep on jumping just to get a perfect shots where all of us are leap in the air. aitelyu, it’s not easy!

I love this shots the most.

Contrast perfectly balance for my liking. Not too dark. But a perfect silhouette shot should have a brighter background and darker image. I know nuts about photography actually. So if you are a pro, give face a bit ok? We took lots of different post – buddha and duck post. lol. It was so much fun.

They have some kind of wrestling going on too.

2 person will get on the balance bar and start hitting. Whoever falls in the sea lost the game. Who wants to be my opponent???

Picnic can’t go without food. Since there are so many of us, we decided to have BBQ picnic.

Another collage by Picasa aka “Google Photo Organizer”. Download the software now from my right bar.

Excuse me on the burnt food. This is only few burnt, we have more burnt chicken actually! What to do, the wind is too strong plus we have few hiccups at the beginning.

When adult started to get mischievious and abandone their toys, what do they do? They decided to experiment with their food.

Coke + Mentos = ???

6ft Explosion!!!

Sorry about the pic. This is a failed project . FAILED!!! Failed to snap any picture actually. I so hate myself that day. How could I did such a mistake. You see, I was distracted by hubby (shouldn’t have ask him to be the cameraman!!! *grrrrr) and one, just ONE, mentos accidentally fell in the coke. It just exploded. Wakakaaa…. I was wet and it was definitely hillarious. Amazingly how only one mentos can create such an explosion. I’m go to do this again in 2 weeks time. Just watch out for this space. Ahem!
