She’s no Longer a “Baby”

Just yesterday we remember seeing her in her birthday suit. Within minutes, little one was wrapped up in blanket and rompers. Today, her chubby body snugged perfectly under that long flowing dress.

Being the 3rd child in the family, she had to share Mummy and Daddy’s love and attention with her two other siblings. You can’t blame Mummy when she totally forgot about the Birthday cake

And since TGIFriday refuse to give me a discount on dining, I won’t give them another good review nor post up any of the food and that yummilicious creamillious devilish mud pie *blueh*

Nah! Left over from Jurrasic Park *ngek*

I missed Tony’s Roma steak so much. Maybe during my Birthday, I’ll eat my heart out there.

Here’s a video for viewing pleasure if you are interested to know how their staffs make such a stomping ruckus during birthday celebrations that the next country also can hear.

“Baby, tell all the lengchai Uncle and lenglui Aunty how old are you today?”

Oops… bad habit die hard. We will still be calling her “Baby” at home cos she’s still a “Baby” in our eyes.

Ipoh White Coffee and Curry Mee don’t blend well

I had Curry Mee for lunch today with a few ex-schoolmates somewhere in Sunway Mas today. If you were to ask if it is good, I’ll give it a 6 out of 10. A very big dissapointment to me as I’ve always been a big fan of see-hum (clam) but they have none at all!!!! To me, a good bowl of Curry mee must have lots of taugeh (bean sprout), lots of see-hum (clam) and mint leaves. Instead of see-hum, they gave 6 slices of siew-yoke (roast pork) which I would say…. acceptable. But I’m still looking for the see-hum!!!!! I want my see-hum!!!! :( Ok, enough of that.

Next, I had 2 big cup of iced Ipoh White Coffee. I’m not a coffee lover but somehow, dunno why this afternoon I seem to have the urge for coffee. I had the 2nd helping cos whenever we meet for lunch, we will talk till the cow comes home and will joke and laugh so loud others will thought we are insane. aitelyu, if you put Foochows together, you will need a earplug cos Foochows can talk real loud as tho we are fighting. No joke!

And today is also a special day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SIR!!!!!

Yes, Sir! He’s my ex-teacher and also cousin’s of Sultan Azlan Shah (let’s see if anyone believe this, tehehe)

Oh, and why I say Ipoh white coffee and curry mee don’t blend well.

#1 - I found out I am caffein intolerance which makes me drowzy or I may say sleepy. Seriously! Too scary to even think of it. Thanks God I’m able to keep myself concious while driving on the road with lots of yawning and tugging of my hair to keep me temporary sane!!!
#2 - I had a bad nausea at 6pm today which makes me wanna throw up.

I’m feeling much better now. Thank you very much.

Once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SIR!!!

My Prince is 4 today!

How on earth did I get 5 candles up there??!!!

Since I didn’t want to rush things on a weekday, we had an early celebration over the weekend as some of you might have already notice.

Apart from serving mee suah (vermicelle) and hard boiled egg (make sure you serve 2 eggs and not one! (Lidat only balance wat ;) *hint, hint) for the birthday boy, later of the day we went to T.G.I. FRiDAY!.
I love TGIF. I love their food, environment and their service especially if you are celebrating your birthday there, they will give you a slice of chocolate moist cake and a small presentation by their staffs. Kiddos love the place after we celebrated Baby Princess’s 1st Birthday there.

Prince with one of their waiter.

Don’t worry. Not every staff dress up like him. You would have though you had stepped into some circus but… hey, basically every of their staff has a bit of resemblance of graduating from the University of Circus! I mean, gosh! Look at their uniform, wonder where did they get so many badges?

Can you see the difference between staff in plain uniform and staff with lots of badges? I think they looks so cool don’t they? Below pic is a small song dedication to the birthday boy. Prince love their reggae/rap (what ever you called them). He has been impersonating their clapping ever since and shouting something that we can’t understand. But we know he mimic the staff in TGIF. So cute can die lidat.

Even tho we bring along our Birthday cake, they insist we had that slice of cake as it is their tradition. See, everyone had their own tradition. Not a bad thing, huh. “Kasi tapau boleh ka?” (”Can I have a doggy bag?”) lol. Before I could say that, kiddos munch them all up.

This is what we had for dinner. The rest that is not featured here is nothing to shout about.

Three of US!

If you browse thru their menu carefully, majority of their steaks is served in Jack Daniel’s sauce.

aitelyu, this is the best sauce that I’ve eaten in my whole life and it would be in my “10 Food to Eat Before I Die” list!

Dessert - Mud Pie

Lipsmacking, gooey, creamy, chocolatey Mud Pie! So sinful yet a die for!!! You can trust me on this. I don’t blog anything that is not worth bloggin especially in a thread that is dedicated to my son and now it almost turn out to be a food review blog *slap forhead*. The chocolate is so delicious that I have to scrap the remaining and lick the fork. Well, if I were at home, I’ll lift up the plate and start licking right there!

Now you know why I like the place so much. First the staff put up an amazing presentation, then the food is so yummilicious I must ask them for the Jack Daniel’s recipe. My guest also in a happy mood and decided to camwhore a bit.

Phee weetttt…

Me? How to be happy when the bill came. RM180++ !!! (bye bye $$$) I patroned that place so often and I think I deserved a discount card or at least something la. Must go claim from them or else won’t give them another review when I eat there, hor.

3 Weddings Birthday and a Funeral

I can’t deny I am such a lame bimbo blogger. Other than yakking about foods or vacation, I can go on and on about my children. Be prepared to get bored with this entry and all these pictures. I just have to blog this for the sake of me and not for the traffic readers cos they are someone important and special to me.

I have lots of relative whos birthday falls in the month of May. Two very special person in my life is my dad and hubby.

For your information, I actually planned the birth of my children to fall on the subsequent month so that every month we will have someone’s birthday to look out for that. Kharlette in March, Kharsyn April, my dad and hubby in May, me! in June, my mom July, unfortunately not all women can conceived as and when they like. So Carlgene’s birthday have to fall on September. It’s all God’s will and I won’t question why.

………………………….

May 13th (ya, ya, I know it’s May the 13th. Just some history about May 13th 1969. Hubby was born the day Malays in Malaysia start attacking Chinese nationwide due to the victory of election for the opposition. Hence, fil name his son 光 that is ‘light’ in chinese translation.)

Birthday cake sponsored by my 2nd bil. So thoughtful of them.

………………………..

May 26th

My mom and my dad. Dad was 68 years old. He does aged alot lately. I’m sure everybody does.

All 6 daughters looking good and proud to celebrate this day with dad.

… and at 67y/o Dad had 9 grandchildrens and more to come down the road. I’m sure!

……………………….

2nd June - Me! me!

Excuse me for the bad bair especially my son as I am travelling on the highway for 3 hours and by the time I reach my hometown it’s about 11.30pm and sisters surprised me with this lovely mango cake. awwww….. thanks sis! You guys are great.

………………………….

June 3rd - This is not my grandma’s actual birthday. My uncles tend to celebrated it early every year and since it coincide with my birthday one day earlier, I got the opportunity to celebrate them with my parents and sisters.

Grandma was 91 years old. Still walking strong with the aid of a walking stick. 2 years ago Grandma had Alzheimer but she still remember histories well. She had 3 generation pass down. But I don’t think she will survive 4 generation cos the oldest great granddaughter is about 11 years old and her youngest grandson is 12 years old. haha! Go figure that out. Oh, if you are interested to hear some Malaysian Idol wannabe singing, click here.

April 22nd - Passing of my mil

A year has gone but her memory is always with us. How I miss doing stuff together and get ourselve busy in the kitchen during festive season. The thought of me missing her funeral is sadly place inside my heart. I hope she understand my situation. I hope she will forgive me.

But I do take a peep at the neighbour’s house everyday. I’m there all the time griefing alone hoping for a console like everyone do. But I know you are more than happy to leave this world that has been causing you pain. I am sure you are happy in your bungalow and getting all the pampering there.

Take good care my dear mil.

(Errr…. you need to get a translator. I can’t write chinese.)
