Ten Fast Fingers
I was hijacking Keeyit’s blog a moment ago and came across a speed typing test he took. The curious and kiasuism me wanted to know how many words per minute can I type. So I took the challenge too.
First Attempt
The nervous me had 4 wrong words. I know I can do better than this.
Second attempt *cracking fingers*
I.am.really.typing.very.fast.you.know!
I don’t care. One more try. I must reach 80 words per minute.
THIRD ATTEMPT! *folding up sleeves*
*Sigh… even thought I’ve made it to 76 words per minute but the number of characters is less.
So, my best personal record is 75 words per minute with 392 characters. How fast can you type?

I type 49 words a minute. Not bad laa. 🙂

The Queen says: Well, for your curiosity, I tried that with both my index fingers. My result is 36 words. Actually, the speed need coordination from how well you know the character’s location. Some people just can’t seem to locate the letter’s ‘P’.

my friends were laughing at me over the holidays, that i type using only three fingers from each hand, but hey, it seems efficient enough for me, as i managed to score 83 words per minutes (with two mistakes though), hehehehe…
The Queen says: Wah, that is a very good score coming from a 3-fingers-typist! But you know, that is really weird. I’ve not seen a 3-fingers-typist before.

well, i’m convinced i’m a 4-fingers typist (not using the little fingers) but apparently i don’t use the thumbs much either, except for space bar… 🙄

i use 3 fingers/thumbs on each hand – i.e. 6 fingers/thumbs…
