uh. i went to the final and had the shock of my life. I had to park 3km away from my car luckily someone hogged a spot for me at the riverside, but it was too smoky to shoot anything beautiful, so, i just enjoyed the fireworks. and also, the ashes sprinkled on me like powder. duh

Yalor…that Cathay cinema no more there! Now empty car park!! I remember I saw GREASE there - John Travolta and Olivia Newton John. Walked and walked…looking for the cinema (That time, didn’t know KL well. Was there on holiday!) and finally, I stopped a SYT (sweet young thing) to ask where Cathay Cinema was…and she looked shocked/annoyed/disgusted and pointed in one direction…and so I walked on. When I reached the end of the block (a few steps away), there it was! Cathay Cinema! I think the SYT was thinking I was up to something! No lah…I very decent chap one!!! LOL
