Malaysia International Fireworks Competition

The photographs that I’m posting is from Italy team who is competing on 25th August. All photographs here is in it’s original form except for the cropping unless specified by me.

First blurry pic…

Of course not so good la. Usually I will test out lighting and functions during the first few shots.

For starter, show you some small-small one first, ok?

Very unique fireworks, right? I vowed not to post something you usually saw during Chinese New Year.

Watch this… before bursting….

After bursting….

😎

The full paranomic…

That’s all for today. Stay tuned as more outrageous fireworks coming soon. Decided to squeeze all 15 pics in one post. Warning: 56k unfriendly ahead!

This is not original…

I merged 2 pictures together. The rest is untouched. I love the star. It is so unique. I wonder if they can made “I LOVE YOU”. That would be so cool!

or… or… “Will You Marry ME?” Wah lao! So romantic can die lidat.

Again, 3D Star. Nice eh?

That’s all from the Italy team. Please note that the fireworks start at 10.00pm on scheduled night and last for about 20 minutes. Go early to get a good spot by the curb side if you do not want to pay the entrance fee. And I mean REAL early like 7 or 8pm. However, you can picnic there while waiting for dawn.

Japan team is competing tomorrow on Merdeka eve. I was told that the fireworks will start at 12am. Subsequent schedules are as follow:

31st August – Global Team
1st September – Global Team
2nd September (Grand Finale) – Global/Pyrofest Canada

I would say, this is Welcome to Malaysia in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2007. Everyone did a good show by putting up such a beautiful and magnificent fireworks.

The Priceless moment!!!!!

My mom asked me, “So, what is the prize for the winner?”

“Good question Ma, I would like to know too”.

Wow..!!! The pictures are really awesome!!! Did you use a tripod? I wanna take pictures like this too!!! I love taking pictures! =)

The Queen says:  I did not use a tripod but it is advisable to reduce shaking which will produce some blurry shots.  Bring along a tripod and set your camera on 2sec delay (if you are using Point and shoot) and choose the lowest ISO.  Happy snaping!
