Saw this bakery shop in Penang while waiting for the traffic light to turn green:
“Where are you working?”
“Patchee Bakery.”
“Don’t la scold your boss patchee”.
“Hmm… ya hor, he so patchee no wonder he named his shop Patchee Bakery.”

hi, i came across this shop too when i was in pG two months ago. the sells the bestest bread for yr info…. wow, so yummm can die wan hehe….

I know where that is, but it didn’t occur to me it meant “crazy” in Cantonese.
