Kampua mee…yes it so yummy….of course it beat “kolo mee” . FYI, Sibu is famous for kampua mee, kuching is famous with their sarawak laksa and “kolo” mee…
Now reading ur post, make me so hungry…and miss kampua mee sooooo muchhhhh! I’m from sibu, town of kampua mee…hahahahaha

I knew a few ppl in my formal Church in PJ who are from Sitiawan, they are all Fu Chows and Methodists, are you?

BTW, I cooked the mouth watering Jiu Hu Char that you shared. I love it so much, I finished the whole batch in two meals that I thought could last me a week.

The Queen says: errr… let me guess. Is that DUMC church? They have whole lots of Sitiawanese Foochow there! And your guess is right.

Glad you love the jiu hu char. It taste even better with your mom’s home grown lettuce!

Oh and you forgot to clearify that hubby and I are not attempting to wear a ‘lovers’ outfit! It is our uniform at work for saturdays!!! I’m going to steal your pictures of the kampuang mee for my blog ok? and of coz the one of my ‘maybe-future-son-in-law” hehehe
