Hey! Now they have this viewing tower that is made of glass so you are like floating on air wor! Too bad it was not ready when I was there last Nov…
I would have love to get on the heli ride too if I’m using my own $$$ heheh but since my hubby paid for the whole trip I can’t be making noises rite?

Darn. You missed a lot of other stuff that is close. Spend the night in Flagstaff and the next day you can visit Sunset crater and also the Pueblo Indian dwellings.

You’re right about winter being bad. I went there and the fog was so bad we stand on the sidewalk and cannot see the edge of the canyon.

Those donkeys by the way. And you can ride on them to the bottom of the canyon. Admit I have not rode them. My mom convinced me that I would go over the edge if I rode one. haha
