Hey, we went yesterday and we went around 2:30pm. God! Maybe we chose the wrong time or maybe it was the last day coz it was incredibly crowded and hot. And my kids whom i thought would get excited at the thought of seeing and going up a huge ship was bizzarrely unexcited. Are they normal kids, I wonder? But they did go bonkers when they saw the books and I ended up spending a lot more than I bargained for. However, I think it was worth the price.
I wanted to get the ice-cream, but we had to wait like 5 minutes, and there was a long queue building, so i abandoned the notion and the ship in search of a thirst quencher. My husband bought iced sugar cane on the roadside along the way home. Perfect!

Yeah I have been on that one when it was in New Zealand about 20-25 yrs ago. So long ago I can’t remember.

ahh ive been to doulus once when i was still studying in sec school.. could not remember which day it was, but we went on a special bus trip with other church members. yeah i gotta admit it was extremely humid inside, and the I did not find anything that screams out at me to buy them…

Doulos will come by every 5 years. I’ve got friends who served on board and my SIL also was on board for 1 year. Had a tour of the ship the last time they came. Really narrow walkways and small quarters. The noise near the engine room was really loud and it’s really hot in there. Can’t imagine if kena assigned to work in there.

MV Doulos.. Still remember when I visited this ship when I was in my primary school I think.. many many years ago..

Interesting that this ship attracts people. What is it’s home port.

The littlest Princess reminds me of my niece. haha. Of course not in longer. That girl will be Junior next year. She is doing an internship in Shanghai for the summer. Miss her being little when I could get those sweet huggies.

I heard of that cruise b4, but never been there.
i am wondering if there is alot of ppl buying stuffs cos books are widely availble over internet now.. =)
